PL 45/09: Translations from LATINA

Filed under: LATINA — plinius @ 6:52 am

rosettaOur very enjoyable – and very intensive – three week LATINA Summer course finished last Friday.

The Rosetta stone – with the same text in hieroglyphics, demotic Egyptian and Greek.

LATINA/lingua continues, however. Four of the participants are staying on for an additional week. They are translating the core resources from LATINA into their own languages: Polish, Ukrainian and Nepali (2 persons). Our Colombian trainee from the LATINA Spring course has joined the group – she is taking care of the Spanish version.

With the assistance of our Chinese participants, who are now back in China, we are also translating into Mandarin Chinese.
