PL 65/08: A new blog from IFLA

Filed under: blogging, debate, IFLA — plinius @ 12:10 pm

hyderabadStuart Hamilton is the new Senior Policy Advisor of IFLA.

His job, he writes

is to co-ordinate IFLA’s advocacy activities, with particular emphasis being paid to libraries and human rights and libraries and copyright. … I’m writing this now as a kind of test for the new IFLA website which will be launched in early 2009.

I was excited to see his new blog – it was launched on December 1 – which gives a lively picture of the Internet Governance Meeting which was held in Hyderabad in early December. I am a great believer in the power of blogs  and other “open access” publication tools to increase the impact of ur collective deliberations.
